INTRODUCTION

How to receive the invitation to study and get an entry visa.

To enter Ukraine with the purpose of training foreign nationals need visa type "D", issued on the basis of study invitation from the UNIVERSITY (visa type "D" not needed for citizens of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Uzbekistan).
The procedure for issuing invitations to study in Ukraine is regulated by the order of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine № 1541 of 01.11.2013 g.
For the decision on giving consent to the admission of a foreigner to the training the institution provides assessment of the compliance of such foreigner with the conditions of admission on the basis of the submitted documents (translated into Ukrainian), in particular:

1) application form;

2) a motivation letter;

3) copy of foreigner's passport or other document proving his identity;

4) copy of document about the previous education with received in various academic courses grades (points) or academic transcript;

5) copies of the document on the results of independent testing (if available);

6) a written consent to the processing of personal data;

7) copies of certificates of completion of language training (if available).

After obtaining the invitation letter an applicant should contact the Embassy of Ukraine in his/her or neighboring country with the application for issuing an entry visa to study in Ukraine. This should be attached to the application and invitation from Central Ukrainian National Technical University (CUNTU).

Admission rules
Training of foreigners and people without Ukrainian citizenship is carried out according to the Law of Ukraine “About legal status of foreigners and people without Ukrainian citizenship” (with changes), decrees of president of Ukraine dated 25.03.1994 #112 “About measures concerning the development of economic cooperation of the Ukrainian regions with bordering regions of Russian Federation” dated 03.06.1994 #271 “About measures concerning the development of economic cooperation of the Ukrainian regions with bordering regions of Belarus and Moldova”, resolutions of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 26.02.1993 #136 “About training foreign citizens in Ukraine” (with changes) and dated 05.08.1998 #1238 “About approval of the instruction for admission of foreigners and people without citizenship to higher educational establishments”. Foreigners who get state scholarships according to the international agreements, state programmes and other international obligations of Ukraine are admitted to educational establishments on the basis of Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine in the limits of state order.

Foreign Ukrainians, who received a referral for education from Ukrainian national and cultural societies, for admission to CUNTU enjoy the same rights to education as citizens of Ukraine, with the exceptions established by the Constitution of Ukraine, laws of Ukraine or international agreements, a consent on obligatory of which is given by Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Foreigners and persons without citizenship who permanently reside in Ukraine, persons granted refugee status in Ukraine, persons who need complementary or temporary protection and persons granted the status of foreign Ukrainian and staying in Ukraine legally have the right to receive higher education as citizens of Ukraine.

The abovementioned categories of persons for the funds of the state budget is carried out within the quotas set forth by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Other foreigners and stateless persons can obtain a higher education at the expense of individuals (legal) persons, unless otherwise stipulated by international treaties of Ukraine agreed to be binding by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, laws or agreements between universities on international academic mobility.

Foreigners who received full secondary education in foreign schools with studying the Ukrainian language, and foreign Ukrainians whose status is confirmed by the certificate of a foreign Ukrainian, are enrolled within the established quotas in CUNTU for the interview on the subjects specified in the Rules of admission on the recommendations of diplomatic institutions of Ukraine abroad and the Ukrainian national cultural societies (if any).
Foreigners that come to the training to get a specific degree, are enrolled in higher educational institutions of Ukraine not later than 15 November on the basis of the orders of enrollment that verifierade in a Single database.

The timing of interview and admission of foreigners and persons without citizenship who arrived in Ukraine to study and go to University in accordance with reported by the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine of quotas or on the basis of contracts concluded by higher educational establishments with physical and legal persons are determined by admissions in accordance to the arrival of students.

Necessary documents for entering Central Ukrainian National Technical University:

- national passport;

- a copy of a document about the education and received grades in educational subjects;

- a document proving the absence of HIV infection if otherwise stated in international agreements of Ukraine;

- medical certificate about the health condition approved by the official medical establishment of the country of a foreigner. The certificate should be issued prior 2 months before coming to Ukraine;

- insurance policy in provision of urgent medical help (except foreigners who came from the countries which have agreements on free urgent medical help);

- copy of birth certificate;

- 6 photos 60×40mm in size;

- possibility to purchase a ticket to return to a native country.

All documents should be approved according to the law of a country that issued the document. The documents must be translated into Russian or Ukrainian and legalized.

The procedure of registration of residence permit

For registration of residence permits to foreigners or stateless persons who arrived to Ukraine to study, you must:

1. Provide the inspector with STCFC (Room 619) the following documents:

- application;

- foreigner's passport with a visa type "D", unless otherwise stipulated by international treaties of Ukraine;

- Ukrainian translation of the page of a foreigner's passport with personal data, certified by a translation Bureau or a notary;

- a petition (submission) of the host party (institution), with the obligation to inform State Migration Office of Ukraine on the dismissal from such institution;

- a document confirming the fact of studying in Ukraine;

- medical insurance;

- receipt about payment of state duty and services of the State migration service;

- 6 (six) photos size 3,5x4,5 cm on matte paper.

2. Before obtaining a residence permit, a student must go personally to the Management of State Migration Office in Kirovohrad region and to sign the certificate.

3. In order to register the place of residence of a foreign student, you must live in hostel №4 CUNTU (University Avenue 8).

4. After the student is accommodated at the hostel of residence, he/she must sign the application for registration of the place of residence to pay the state fee (receipt is issued by the migration Department).

5. The student gets a residence permit under the bill, upon presentation of a passport.
